Cooperation Protocol between İTÜ TMSC and Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education

A cooperation protocol for “İTÜ TMSC Music Secondary School and Music and Performance Arts High School” was signed between Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory and Ministry of National Education Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education.

The protocol signed at İTÜ Turkish Music State Conservatory involves creating a common working platform by combining the academic capacity of İTÜ with the experience of Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and raising well-educated and happy children in the relevant fields.

In this context, it is aimed to support the professional development of teachers of general education coursesassigned by Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education through trainings given by İTÜ, to put the received trainings into practice, and to raise individuals who are strong in their fields and beneficial to their country.

A Comprehensive Cooperation 

Teacher requirements for general education courses concerning İTÜ Turkish Music State ConservatoryMusic Secondary School will be determined and the teachers will be appointed to the secondary school. Trainings will be given in collaboration with İTÜ in order to support and increase the professional knowledge and equipment of teachers of general education courses and the application of the trainings will be carried out at the secondary school.

İTÜ Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu and Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Levent Yazıcı came together at the İTÜ TMSC buildingto sign the protocol. İTÜ Turkish Music State Conservatory Director Prof. Dr. Ali Tüfekçi, Vice Directors Prof. Dr. Can Karadoğan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Serkan Mesut Halili were also present at the signing ceremony.
